Normally, people determine they need an extended family shoot because their family is spread across the country and finally together… let’s document some memories! This family, currently? Spread across the world. (Quick interruption to insert: “Thanks for your serving our country, Andrew!”) And though my mother heart has only been alive for 5+ years, I can still imagine the bursting joy at my whole entire family being safe and together. So that’s what we captured: the group, the joy and the real moments. The weather may have given us a run for our money. And changed our location. But these smiles? These moments of togetherness? They are timeless. Captured forever. I’m so privileged (read: it warms my heart so much!) to give this family these images and so many more. The more I do extended family sessions, the more I love doing them.
